Prime Minister's Letter To Ex-Foreign Secretary

Vital Difference

In Direction

Of Policy

London, To-day.

It is reliably learned that before yesterday's vital Cabinet meetings, the Prime Minister and Mr. Anthony Eden had a heart to heart talk to- gether.

Indicative of the public attitude to the dispute, Mr. Anthony Eden was one of the only two Cabinet Ministers who were greeted with a positive storm of cheering in Downing Street yester- day. The other was the Secretary for War, Mr. Leslie Hore-Belisha.
