T the meeting of the Softball League on Mon- day, the schedule for the International Soft- ball Series was arranged. Play will begin on Sun- day, January 30, and the final game will be held on February 13.
The first four games, conducted under an elimination system, will be as follows:
Hong Kong versus Philippinė Islands: Britain versus China “A”; Portugal versus U.S.A. and China “B” versus India. These games will be played at King's Park, the first mentioned two at the Central British Association's ground, and the latter two at the football ground of the Club de Recreio.

games will be played on a ground

which will be specified later. The FOOTBALL sponsor of this Series, the Chin- ese Youth Medical Relief Asso- ciation, have agreed to procure a suitable ground, and fans will be informed of its whereabouts when it is made known.
There will be an exhibition game between China and the Rest after the final, and it will be played with a 14 inch ball.
The latest entrant in this Series has been tentatively known 28 Hong Kong, to be composed mainly of members of the No. 3, Machine Gun Company, of the Volunteer Defence Corps. This brings the total of entrants to eight teams, thereby eliminating the
necessity of a bye.
