Max Schmeling's next opponent, the South African Ben Foord, who was accompanied by his manager Leibrandt, arrived here yes- terday in order to prepare for the bout on January 13, informed sport editors that as a result of intensive training recently, he was feeling very fit.
Ben Foord added, however, that he must still lose 14 pounds in order to get down to his proper "boxing weight."
