As a result of to-day's programme, there are likely to be several chan- ges in the First Division League football table, especially where the present leaders, Kowloon and the Middlesex are concerned, as both will 5TH A.A. BDE. MAY be up against very stiff opposition with several changes in their lineups.

KOWLOON WILL BE WITHOUT THE SERVICES OF TWO OF THEIR BEST DEFEND- ERS IN O'CONNOR, RIGHT-HALF, AND EVANS, LEFT-HALF, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE POSITIONS WILL BE FILLED BY MAXWELL, FROM THE JUNIORS, AND VALE, WHO USED TO PLAY FOR THE FUSILIERS AS A LEFT FULL-BACK. THESE CHANGES ARE the positions of the leading teams *LIKELY TO WEAKEN KOWLOON'S DEFENCE AND AGAINST A PENETRATIVE ATTACK-in the Second Division of the ING LINE, AS POSSESSED BY EASTERN, AN UPSET WILL NOT COME AS A SURPRISE local football League, as both

Eastern will probably field the same team which trounced the Club last Saturday. The Middle- sex who share the top position in the table with Kowloon, will meet South China" "B", hitherto unbeaten, to-day at Sookunpoo, where fireworks are anticipated. The soldiers will be making sev- eral positional changes owing to injuries.

South China "B" will strengthen their defence with the inclusion of Tay Quee-liang, at right-back, in- stead of Cheung Fai-lum, while Lau Chong-sang has been included in their attack at inside-left, in the berth which would ordinarily have Race No. 4 fallen to Tay.

MATCH FOR PEARSON Tay's headwork is good and be is very quick in recovering from a bad position. He should give Wat Son and Pearson and anxious time and should prove an ideal match for the latter, whose headwork has already made itself felt among the senior teams.

Another very good encounter should be witnessed at Caroline Hill where South China "A" enter Race No. 6 tain the Seaforths in what should be a very fast and exciting encoun- ter. South China will field the same team as last week, while the Scots' team is at present unknown

In the two remaining senior én- counters this afternoon, the Club Race No. 7 should beat Kowloon Chinese, while the St. Joseph's versus Police game is anybody's, although the Saints should start favourites.

DAILY DOUBLE- POTENTATE AND YZIRA

(By “UBIQUE”) There should be no changes in

the Middlesex and the 5th A.A. Bde., Royal Artillery, should, re- gister comfortable wins over the Chinese Engineers and the Kow- loon. Football Club, respectively, though the Gunners have the harder of the two tasks

The Middlesex, on their pre- sent form and in the absence of the Navy, stand a very good chance of annexing the title and the inclusion of Izzard, formerly of the first team, and Marabel, has greatly strengthen the side.

The Chinese Police have not yet. settled down, though individualy they have a good team. Kong Hồng and Wong Ching-yau, are their best forwards, but their wingers slow in centring and this allows t opposing defence time enough

* HITHERTO UNBEATEN The 5th AA Bde are so far un- beaten and have a well balaiced team Smith has been their leading goal scorer to date, while Bancroft, on the right wing, is always a source of danger as he can centre and shoot well.

Kowloon are playing Jorge i their junior team in place of Wil son, who has been promoted to the senior side. The juniors have not come up to expectations in the ab sence of G. White and Souza

The Club should beat the Police as they will have a strong side. Gil- chirst will be in the pivotal position while M. Purves returns to his old berth at right-half Scott, a new- comer, has been preferred at inside- left to Stephens, who is on the reserve hist

MEDICALS «. POLICE The outstanding game in the Third Division is that between - the Medicals and the Police. The latter are so far unbeaten while the Medi- cals are now second in the table. Pym, Youd and Wilson, are three fast forwards, while Howells, in the intermediate line, is also good

The Police will be without the ser- vices of Britain, who is playing for the first team. Willis who has re cently recovered from an injury, will be seen in the pivotal position, while Hayward and Territ will be at bark. In the attack, Wall will be seen at inside-left where his understanding with Cherng Kam is very good and Ithe to
