Conditions at the Valley yester day afternoon were hardly con- ducive to good tennis but they cer- tainly did create a great deal of amusement and judging by the spirit in which the match was con- tested, both the players from Crai gengower, who won 6-3, and Hong Kong Cricket Club, thoroughly en joyed themselves.

The wind simply shrieked dow Wong Nei-chong Gap and it was possible to send a ball soaring into the air in the direction of th football stands to have it caught by playful gusts of wind and br converted into a first rate lob of excellent length.
