✔.
The British High Commissioner for Palestine, General Sir Arthur Wauchope, yesterday received leaders of the Arab and Jewish movements but as both parties had already met beforehand and adopted their attitude towards the proposals em- bodied in the Palestine Report, the meeting with Sir Arthur was of but limited significance.

The Jews at the same time, how- ever, raised many new demands, including special rights for Jews in Palestine and possession of the South Palestine desert.
