And I brought him, unto thy disciples, and they could not cure him. And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of

TRIP FROM JAVA ON DUTCH PLANE

he consul for the Netherlands in Manila has asked the Dutch Em- bassy in Washington to u its

use good offices in securing a permit for a chartered plane from Java to land in the Philippines.

It is understood that Mr. J. H. Marsman, the mining magnate, in- tends to return to Manila aboard this plane. Mr. Marsman is now in Bandoeng, Java, inspecting his mining ventures there. He has been travelling in the United States and Europe for the past several months..

If the permit is granted, it is possible he will be accompanied by Mr. E. E.Wing, who resigned some time ago as manager of the China Banking Corporation : to join the Marsman organisation.
