CHAUTEMPS ATTEMPTING TO FORM CABINET: SOCIALISTS DOUBTFUL

The Socialist Parliamentary group has decided in favour of supporting a Popular Front Govern- ment led by M. Camille Chautemps, Minister of State in the Blum Cabinet.
M. Chautemps' chances of forming a Cabinet are thus increasing but it is not likely the Cabinet will be announced before noon to-day.
