WOMAN'S DOUBLE SEX CHANGE

A double sex change in a woman is reported in "The Lancet" from Vienna.

"A remarkable feature," it is stated, "was the rapidity with which the changes took place in both directions.”

The woman," who was 32 and un- married, underwent medical examination following "a very noticeable masculinisation" and was found to be suffering from a tumour.

Very quickly after an operation had been performed for the re- moval of the tumour all the mascu- line attributes receded.

Although quite a number of cases of a single change in sex have oc- curred, double transformations àre

rare. -
