It took Lady Hoare, wife of Sir Samuel Hoare, First Lord of the Admiralty, four attempts before she successfully broke the bottle of champagne over the bows of the "Ark Royal," Britain's newest air- was launched craft-carrier which at Birkenhead yesterday.
