IS SOLVED
To Be Awarded To The Runner-Up
The problem of what to do with the Fishwick Cup, awarded to the winner of the qualifying competi- tion in the British Women's Golf championship, consequent upon the decision to abandon the prelimin- ary test has been solved.
The Executive Council of the Ladies' Golf Union have agreed, in view of a suggestion from Miss Fishwick herself, that the cup shall be awarded to the runner-up in the championship and held for the year by the club from which she had entered. Entries for this year's championship will close on May 14 and the draw will take place on May 21.
