Bristol Crowd Displeased With The Verdict
London, January 26. Although not in his best form, Jimmy Walsh (Chester), British light-weight champion, out-point- ed Robert Disch, Dutch title- holder, over 12 rounds at Bristol. Booing from all parts of the hall greeted the verdict.
Walsh was always hitting the harder, but neglected his right practically all through the fight. Disch boxed cleverly, but was gen- erally outclassed, being beaten continuously to the punch.

R.N.R.C. on the ground at 5.15 p.m.
Of the two goalkeepers, Souza has deteriorated slightly. Howlett, on the other hand, has been given plenty of experience and on current form looks a strong contender for Macao honours.
Three full-backs have been asked to turn out, to-morrow and of these one is a newcomer, in Joginder Singh, of the Kumaon Rifles, who bids fair to oust Guest from the right-back position.
IRRITATING HABIT
I must admit that I admire both these players' work, but Guest has not yet rid himself of that irritat- ing habit of hanging onto the ball while Joginder Singh is a firm be- liever in first-time methods, and is very neat in his distribution, like so many others from the same Re- giment.
"I naturally do not mean by the long handle indiscriminate hitting, but when I see slow bowlers bowling with no one in the deep field, I say it is an outrageous farce.
WEEK-END SOCCER FIXTURES
Seaforths To Meet The Rifles
The following are the League Football fixtures for this week-end giving the favoured team in pro- nounced black type.
Gosano by virtue of his fine dis- plays for the Argonautas and the representative Civilian sides in the past, is a certainty for the left-SEAFORTHS back position.
