EAST LANCS. DEPARTURE AFFECTS ENTRIES

THE Senior and Junior Billiards Championship of the Colony, organised by the Hong Kong Billiards Association has met with poor response this season, there being only half the number of entrants as compared to last year.

The Services are poorly represented, but this is due to the fact that the East Lancs. have left and their successors, the Sea- forths, have not yet settled down yet.

Notable absentees in the competition are E. Hong Sling and A. Kitchell, runners-up in the 1936 Senior and Junior Division respectively, and L P. Yeung, last year's holder of the Junior Championship.
