In deference to the recent bereavement of His Excellency the Governor, there were altera- tions in the programme of Là Salle College's fifth annual dis- tribution of prizes, held yesterday, and appropriate expressions of sympathy were made. His Excel- lency did not attend as he had: originally planned to do, but Lady. Caldecott made the presentations | and was given a great ovation:
