Among the outstanding upsets of the year was the result of the Caer Clark Cup series, Centrai which was won for the first time since the inception of the series in 1928 by the British Association Ladies, who have proved themselves to be true champions, and the sen- sational" elimination of India, the holders, by Portugal, the subsequent winners, in the local The Navy have also contributed their share of upsets by beating international tournament.

the Army in the Triangular Tournament, though fielding a greatly weakened team. The visit to Macan by Colony hockey teams has decreased considerably, and one outstanding success was achieved by the newly-formed Wanderers' eleven, who scored three times against the Portuguese team, although they lost by 5 goals to 3. Macan also sent a team to the Colony and drew with the HKSRA, lost to the Kowloon Indians' Tennis Club and beat Club de Recreio.
