The Fuehrer and Reich Chancellor announc- ed last night that so many assurances of loyalty had reached him from his supporters in the Reich and from those wishing him well in foreign coun- tries, both during the election campaign and after its close, that it would be a matter of impos- sibility to return the thanks individually, and he asked all who had supported him in this way to accept by public announcement the assurance of his sincere gratitude.

Paris: The theme of the all but unanimous declaration of loyalty towards the Fuehrer and his policy by the whole German people outweighed all other topics in the French press yesterday, the Berlin correspondents of the leading Paris dailies describing, at great length the enthusiasm, which they declare "proves that the German people forms an indissolubly welded block with its Fuehrer."
