IN a very big soccer programme this afternoon there are three games of outstanding interest -the clash between South China "A," the League leaders, and the reshuffled Club team at Caroline Hill, the encounter between South China "B" and the Fusiliers, the result of which will have an important bearing on the runners- up position in the senior League, and the Second Division clash between the two Junior Shield finalists, the Engineers and East Lancs.

For many years the Club have always won at least one game; per season against South China, and as this will be the last oppor-i tunity this season of doing so they are fielding a strong, though experimental team, both E. Strange and Drown, inside-forwards, playing as wing-halves.

Elliot will be leading the club team, with Wilson, who has been impressive so far, and Pearce as his inside-forwards,

Though it will be admitted that the presence of Lee Wai- long in the Chinese team is of very great moral importance it; must be said that as a result of practically depending on him to score goals the shooting of the other forwards has fallen off considerably. To Forrow, the Club vivot, will fa'l the task of watching Lee, and if he does it well the Club have a good chance of winning.
