CLUB'S LAST CHANCE
TO BEAT S. CHINA
PREMIER LEAGUE CLASH AT CAROLINE HILL
FORROW v LEE DUEL WILL DECIDE ISSUE
IN a very big soccer programme this afternoon there are three games of outstanding interest -the clash between South China "A," the League leaders, and the reshuffled Club team at Caroline Hill, the encounter between South China "B" and the Fusiliers, the result of which will have an important bearing on the runners- up position in the senior League, and the Second Division clash between the two Junior Shield finalists, the Engineers and East Lancs.
For many years the Club have always won at least one game; per season against South China, and as this will be the last oppor-i tunity this season of doing so they are fielding a strong, though experimental team, both E. Strange and Drown, inside-forwards, playing as wing-halves.
Elliot will be leading the club team, with Wilson, who has been impressive so far, and Pearce as his inside-forwards,
Though it will be admitted that the presence of Lee Wai- long in the Chinese team is of very great moral importance it; must be said that as a result of practically depending on him to score goals the shooting of the other forwards has fallen off considerably. To Forrow, the Club vivot, will fa'l the task of watching Lee, and if he does it well the Club have a good chance of winning.
Lt. Davies, (Navy), above, is unfortunately unable to play in the Calnew bork team to-dar.

The Fusiliers should account for South China "B" in the
other game. Though there is
little to choose between the de- fences, the Fusilier forwards are better and more.. thrustfu' when near the goal
The brillant Macau Hockey Club first eleven, above, will meet the Hong Kong Interport eleven this afternoon on the Royal Naval Recreation Club ground, commencing, at 4 pm. The above team is identical to that which shared the apolls in a match against the EKSKA last January.

INTERMEDIATE LINE ALREADY KNOWN MACAU ELEVEN SAME AS AGAINST. H.K.S.R.A COLONY LEFT-WING PROBLEM
(By "Sticks")
HONG KONG stand an excellent chance of securing their second consecutive Interport| hockey win against Macau when they meet this afternoon on the Royal Naval Recreation Club ground at King's Park, commencing at 4 p.m.
Lal Singh, above, will probably be playing on the left-wing lan the Colony Interport Hockey side which meets Macan to-day in their third annual contest.
But for the THE INDIANS
The Colony side has not yet been selected, although the probable composition of it is fairly well known Heft-wing berth, which should fall to Lal Singh, but which rests between him and Pte. Nolan, the eleven will probably be: A. E. Owens (goal); A. E. P. Guest and Kishen Singh (Full-backs) Lt. J. P. Williams. W. A. Reed and Alaf Din (Half-backs) and G. E. R. Divett; Lt. E. M. Dawson, Gurbachan Singh, Lt. Burch and Lal Singh (Forwards).
