Incident On K.C.R. Train

DEFENDANTS DISCHARGED

Charges of assaulting a Chinese Maritime Customs official, Sum Liu-ming, and entering the brake van of the Canton Express with out permission, were preferred against Chau Tai cho and Lo Chan before Mr. Wynne-Jones at the Kowloon Magistracy this morning, but after evidence had been taken they were both dis charged.

In the witness box the complain- ant said that he was a Chinese: Customs official operating on the ! Chinese section of the Kowloon-i Canton Railway.
