London, September 11. THE All Blacks, training and practising hard at Paignton, are beginning to find their feet. The phrase is apt, for the tactics of this New Zea land team, I think, will be founded upon a concep- tion of forward play from which we may learn a great deal.

I hasten to add that this is simply a deduction from the com- position of the All Blacks side, and our knowledge of the present state of the game in New Zealand. An exercise in the art of
