For obvious reasons one cannot always choose', one's bridesmaids for their looks alone, bat if there' is a plain relation who must be included, devote your efforts to choosing an outft that will give her a chance to look her best, and let the more attractive members of the retinue fall into line. Your best looking bridesmaid wil prob- ably look ravishing in any case.

The Marriage Knot

The symbolical marriage-knot of which we hear is actually part of the Hindu ceremony too. In this. the bridegroom hangs a ribbon.. round the bride's neck and ties it in a knot, upon which the marriage immediately becomes indissoluble.
