BRIDGE NOTES Differing Results In Duplicate Bridge
by Bly CulbertŽBON.
THE CHINA MAIL FRIDAY, MARCH 29, 1935
A major part of the fascina- tion of duplicate Bridge is the many different results which may be obtained by different teams playing the same hands. On the hand below, which took place in the Masters Pair event at the recent Asbury Park Tournament, a great many different results were obtained despite the fact that the hand was not particu larly unusual or freakish in nature and also despite the fact that only one of the players was guilty of worse than a close error in judgment.
