On Thursday Just about 20 mis- alonary visitors to the Island avail- ed themselves of the kind invitation of the Committee of the Helena May Institute to meet other missionaries, local ministers, and other friends at the social hall of the Institute.

A special launch started at 3 p.m. from Cheung Chan, landing the party at Blake Pier, where they were met by cars."

A thoroughly enjoyable tea and social intercourse followed, accom panied by various musical Items. The thanks of the visitors from Cheung Chau were voiced by 'Mrs. Dewstoc.. who recalled a conversa- tion with Lady May, who had ex- pressed a desire to have a meeting place for women, such as the pre- sent institute.
