Washington, To-day.

The House of Representatives is facing a furious fight over silver, eclipsing all other Con- gressional controversies. Speaker Rainey is go- ing ahead with his declared intention of testing silver in the House by permitting a vote to-day on the two silver Bills approved by the House Coin- age Committee on March 10.

"I don't care how Mr. Morgenthau feels. I be- lieve we should give the Administration an ́indi- cation of how we feel,” he declared, yesterday.

Several silver advocates are preparing to ask the Treasury Secretary, Mr. Henry Morgenthau to resign because they are irked by Mr. Morgen- thau's implication that some silver advocates are interested in the markets. ROOSEVELT -
