Lionel Roza Pereira, who on Tuesday evening fealed W. M. Lawrence by a touch in the Victoria Recreation Clul 220 Yards Frer Style Open Championship, yesterday added to his cess in the 440 Yards Free Style Open Championship when he wony half a-length in 6.48.4, bettering his last year's time by 10.4/5 sende.
The Victoria Recreation Club carried off the Yards Open Team Race of six men in the excellent time of gas beating their nearest rivals, the Chinese Athletic Association, blive yards, while the Club de Recreio came third.
B. Gosano, the popular vice-cap- tain of St. Joseph's Football Club, won an excellent race in the 50 Yards Breast Stroke Trial for the Inter Club contest against the Shanghai Foreign Y.M.C.A. to be staged next Monday.
Gosano, although neck and neck with H. M. Remedios in the first length, proved the bet ter of the two after the turn and won by a good yard in the very good time of 35.3/5 secs.
