A sensation · has been caused by the disappearance of Mr. Peter Young, the well-known local jockey. The sum of $208,391.73 is miss ing from the Kwang- tung ~Provincial Bank, where he was emplo y ed as a cashier.

Mr.. Young, who resides at No. 5, Fung Fai Terrace, Village Road, Happy Valley, is reported as missing since August 15. No sig- nificance was placed in his disappearance for the first few days, but two days ago, the bank officials decided to open the safe, when the loss of the money was discover- ed.
