TOMORROW'S H.KA.IS.A. GALA

(By Crawl)

WHAT promises to be one of the most sensational aquatic galas in the annals of Colony swimming will be held at the European: Y.M.C.A. pool to-morrow night at 9 p.m., when the first of a series. of galas by the Hong Kong International Amateur Swimming ‘Asso-- ciation is to be staged.

Most of the existing batta, records are expected to be shattered, and thrilling finishes are anticipated in the team races for men and women, and in the free style sprint events.

Already one of the existing records, the 100 Yards Free Style- of 65.1/5, established by A. G. Donn in 1932, has been broken. H. Lange on Wednesday evening covered the distance in 61.1/5 1 seconds.
