There were several good breaks in this match, 8 Sgt Clarke of the Small Units registering two succesive ones of 38 and 31, while Sgt. Ash of the Lincolns chalked up three breaks of 20, 20 and 21. The most exciting game of the evening was that between Dyr. Gray of the Small Units and Sgt. Green of the Lincolns.
Green required only 3 points to win, but Gray, 25 points behind, played magnificently to run out winner with a 26 anfinished break, Green chalked up a 34 break in the early stages, an
