New Jewellery.

The beginning of 1933 reveals some Interesting new fashion items which are likely, very soon. to become established favourities. In the matter of hosiery, for example, open mesh stockings of cobweb silk, like an Edwardian. lady's veil, are the latest kind to! make a bid for popularity. Shaded silk stockings are another new! idea. These are cleverly toned from the palest pinky-beige in the front of the leg te dark brown at the back seam.

Black tulle mittens, reaching to just below the elbows are an ex- periment ip evening gloves. Effec- tive, but decidedly not utilitarian. The clip brooch has now lead to the convertable brooch. The lat tor variety of jewellery may be a diamond which can be worn as e hair grip, (and is excellently qualified to keep recalcitrant locks: in place) a corsage brooch or a japel brooch.
