"NOING in at the fall of the seventh wicket at 78 when 51 runs were required for victory Pay Lt.-Comdr. Yates gave the Royal Navy á great triumph over the Army:by'one wicket when he rattled up 45 not out in the Triangular Tournament game on the H.K.C.C. ground yesterday.

Commencing the day with the game well in hand the Navy lost their grip on the game when Lt. Garthwaite dominated the bowling to the extent of 97 runs. It was a magnificent innings and entirely chanceless. Garthwaite later took 6 wickets for 50 runs in a gallant but unavailing effort to give the Army the championship.

The Navy have now to play the Club in the final game of the Tournament, and should they win, as the Army did by 7 runs, the championship will be theirs for the first time in the last five years, The match will commence on Saturday and be continued on Monday.
