The guests of honour will be Mr. A. O. Brawn (President ing beer previously beaten by the of the L.B.A. and captain of the Interport team), Mr. U. M. Though H.E. the Officer Administering the Government, the Hon. Mr. W. T. Southorn, will be unable to attend, on account of a former engagement, an assembly of some fifty or sixty enthusiasts is anticipated:

The following will be the guests at the official table:

Mr. A. L. Shields "·

(Vice-President L.B.A.),

Mr. R. E. Maughan

(Hon. Treasurer LBA.), Mr. C. J. Tacchi ・・・

Though the 1932 Lawn Bowls season has been officially concluded there yet remains the dinner in honour of the victorious Hong Kong: Interport team. To-night bowle enthusiasts will be able to hear the full story of the visit to Shanghai from Mr. A. O. Brawn, who acted as manager of the Colony Bix. On the occasion of the distribution of prizes after the Aitkenhead" Shield match last Saturday Mr. Brawn only touched lightly on the subject of the Shanghai visit, preferring to and

outline the activities here in the Colony. To-night, however, Mr. Brawn is expected to deliver a full "account of the triumphant trip North and of the brilliance of U. M.. Omar, the hero of the encounter.

From what I gather the Kowloon Bowling Green Club will be the best represented club at to-right's din- ner at which fifty or sixty will be In attendance. It is to be regretted that so keen a bowler as the Hon. Mr. W. T. Southorn will be unable to attend, but lawn bowlers will fully realize his MARY respon- sibilities.

A humorous touch has been; lenti to the selected menu card which. 1|

Conditions were ideal for the race, a slight tide flowing towards Lyeemun being the only handicap which competitors had to over-

Had Miss Yeung been able to maintain a straight course she would almost certainly have broken Miss Doris Hunt's 1931 record of 31 mins. 4 secs. She set her course for the Naval Yard camber and at the conclusion was some 300 yards to the east of her objection. Last year Miss Young was second to Miss Hunt,
