Owing to the wild weather pre- valent in the China Seas, some anxiety was felt for the safety of the passengers and crew, but news received by the agents, Messrs. Thorenson & Company, yesterday, has allayed apprehension.

The Henry Keswick arrived on the score yesterday, and commenced to tow the vessel to this port.

The Hirundo was seized by pirates in November, 1930, when about 100 miles' out of Hong Kong.
