THE CHINA MAIL.

The Harbour Office reports for the. 24 hours ended 9 a.m. 'yester- day gave a free movement of vessels with B fair tonnage. Freights were moderats, both the inwards and throughs falling to reach five figures. The total ton- nage entered was 27.081.

There were eight inward regis- tries of which three were British and and one of four figures, while of the six throughs, three ware Bri- tish and two of four igures. Three vessels arrived in ballast.

Passengera entered during the period included 88 Europeans and 895 Asiatic deck, British vessels carrying 230 out of the total in all

classes.
