Yaumati, situated in Yaumati Branch Post Office opened Nov. ember 25, 1980, for acceptance and delivery. This office has not been the success anticipat- ed, probably owing to the fact that most of the businesses in the district are ́emall and pure- ly local with head offices in Hong Kong.

Sheungwan, situated in Sheungwan Post Office near the Western Market, opened April 11, 1981, for the acceptance of telegrams only. Owing to its position in the heart of the prin cips) Chinese business district this office has been an unquali- j fied success, the average number of telegrams accepted daily be ing 136.
