Winter Brides Favour Tailored Styles.
Audrey Wrangham writes to the London Daily Telegraph of Novem- ber 24:-
The return to quieter and simpler modes of dross seems to be fore- shadowed in the distinct preference that Winter brides are showing fo tailored lingerio. In the big sunny room at the Royal School of Needlework, where so many young brides have chosen their trous seaux, a special feature 'la being made of the simple, exquisitely cut nightdress, with a plain V neck, adorned with lines of punching, or else with a narrow turn-down col- lar of lace, or shirt collar and bow of the same material.
