Port officials at Charleston, South Carolina, announce the cs- tablishment of a radio beacon on Charleston lightship as a new ald ito navigation, and that simflar facilities to those available at Sav- annah, Jacksonville and other Atlantic shipping ports will be available as soon as the automatic beacon is completed, which will broadcast algnnis in clear and foggy weather as a guide to vessels entering the harbour. In order to provide mariners with cross- bearings obtained from more than one station, the Charleston radio hencon will be placed in the group with Frying Pan Shoals for the
Marseilles, London, Rotterdam, Ant- North Carolina coast and the Sav
