No Bodies Identified. The messages are emphatic upon the point that no bodies have been identified, in spite of reports between ships to that effect.

The finding of a lifebuoy be- longing to the s.s. Benarty, of Leith, near Incog Islands, is also reported. It will be recalled that the Benarty was caught by the same typhoon in which the Kwongsang and Waishing came to grief. The Chief Engineer, Mr. Grimwood, was washed over- board, and drowned. The ship also lost one of its bonts, and was so badly knocked about that she had to go into dock for re- pairs upon arrival in Hong Kong

PIRACY SUSPECTS.

Following on the return to har- bour of the s.s. Telikon, to whole assistance H.M.S. Stormcloud rushed on account, of a piracy scare, it is understood that, of the nine persons who were de tained by the Police on Saturday, only two men and one woman are still detained. It is to be presum- ed that they were unable to fur- nish satisfactory explanations of their presence on the steamer.
