Members of the Second Divi- sion side were seen walking about after the game with a brave smile which deceived nobody. Discreet enquiry elicited the fact that they had received rather a sad drub- bing, but the score was kept a close Accret. Beyond this, no- thing could be discovered.
Taikoo seniors open their sea- son next Saturday with a visit from the Police R.C., whilst the second team will visit the Civil Service C.C.

The bowling of the School was entrusted to Waller, Frith and Prata, all of whom' trundled con- sistently well to take four for 39, two for 19 and three for 30 res- pectively.
The visitors were weak in bat- ting and but for a capital knock of 44 by Youngaaye, would have fared disastrously. In hitting up more than half the total of hig side, Youngsaye saved the D.B.S. from total collapse.
Of the Club povjera, Reid (1 for 22) met with the most success.

SCRAPPY GAME.
Playing at King's Park on Satur- day afternoon, the Y.M.C.A. second eleven drew with the Cheero Club, It both sides scoring two goals. was not one of the best games to 48 play was serappy watch
both sides lacking throughout, combination.
The led at the interval by a goal scored by J. J. Ferguson from a pass by L, Macey. On the resumption the visitors equalised after. And took the lead soon
by a forward Continued attacks line of individuals rather than a combined body led to the "y" equalising. Ferguson, took the ball down the wing and sent in a W. J. Brown, nice centre which who took the place of H. Praght at centre-forward, found ttle difficulty in converting with a fast shot. The result was a very falr estimate of the play, neither side deserving to win.
For the Y.M.C.A., J. J. Ferguson was the outstanding player, but his well-placed centres from the wing did not receive the best at- tention from the inside forwards. The centre half of the Cheero Club was perhaps the most hard-work- ing player on the field, and it was due to his efforts that the Y.M.C.A. forwards failed to show any un- derstanding.

NEW CHALLENGE.
0 WHO IS THE CHAMPION RABBIT
CATCHER?
The Royal Dublin Society keeps its bicentenary in June of this year, and the celebration will extend over several days,
The latest British challenge to championship honours comes from Mr. Isaac Gough, of Gloucester shire, who holds the distinction of Britain's champlon being
rabbit catcher.
Addressing the University of London Animal Welfare Society, he stated that he had been catching rabbits for 97 years, and this was his challenge to the world.
"After any place of ground has been gone over with nets for three nights, I will go over it again and trap 100 per cent. more rabbits.
