An attack on the Roman Catholic attitude towards the Education Bill, recently defeated in the House of Lords and with- drawn by the Government, was made by Principal E. Griffith- Jones in his presidential address to the National Council of Evan- gelical Free Church at Weston- super-Mare.
The Romanist demand to have the whole cost of their schools supplied by the State while they retained the liberty to make these schools centres of Catholic pro- paganda with the help of rates and taxes was a real injustice, he aaid,
