GARDEN FETE.

FAIR HELD IN ST. PETER'S CHURCH GROUNDS.

OPENED BY MRS. CREASY,

The fourth annual St. Peter's

Garden Fete was held in the Church grounds adjoining No. 7, Police Station (Old Sallora' Home), West Point, on Saturday afternoon, and achieved no less success than in former years.

The Fair was opened by Mrs. H. T. Creasy, wife of the Hon. Director of Public Works, at 3 p.m., and thereafter, until dark, a large crowd of merry-makers had a very enjoyable time amongst the many stalls and side shows. It was also a profitable afternoon for them because, in spite of the low rate of the dollar, they receiv ed excellent value for their money at all the stalls and many came away well-Inden

with pretty ar ticles admirably suitable for Christmas presents and each one à bargain.

The tastefully arranged stalls, all gally decorated with flags and bunting, Included the sweets stall, flowers stall, planta stall, fruit stall, fancy stall, and the aver popular dollar stall where one got
