Her Present Insignificant Position Stressed.

At the official opening, ceremony of the South China Motor- Shipbuilding and Repairing Works, Limited, yesterday at To Kwa Wan, Capt. Brandt laid emphasis on China's present insignificant position in the shipbuilding world, and expressed his views that China's great future Iny in motor-ships because this type of vessels was more advantageous for short voyages and for longer delays in harbour.
