Sequel to Rough Play in a Championship.
As a sequel to the rough play in the Rugby Championship semi-final match between Agen and Pau on Sunday, May 4, in which Michel Pradie, an Agen player, received injuries from which he died, the Pau club has been officially censured by the French Rugby Federation.
In addition, the Federation has Buspended Recaborde, a Pau for word, who kicked the referee, and Domercque, another Pau player, who refused to leave the field when ordered off.
Eloquent Plea for Co-operation.
A writer to a Straits paper waxes eloquent on the subject of cricket. He says:

COUNTY GOLF TITLE.
Retained by Lancashire After Hard Struggle.
Lancashire retained the British County Golf Championship on the Burnham and Berrow Course (Semerset) with an aggregate for their team of four of 640, aine strokes worse than their winning score of last year, at Gosforth.
Their victory was the more creditable because at the last minute three players selected fell out, and only R. H. Hardman, of Manchester, of the original four, was able to take his place.

London, April 14.
I was invited to spend yesterday morning with the Sun Bathing Soclety (writes a Daily Express correspondent).
I believe in sun-bathing, and I believe that the whole of Britain' -will discover its virtues this sum- mer but I had never before sun- bathed in public.
Sun Lodge, the headquarters of the Sun Bathing Society, is one of those large red-brick mansions which prosperous merchants of the late Victorian age erected on suburban hills. The house and garden have been given to the society by an enthusiastic bather.

It was a typical April day-rain one minute and bright sunlight the next--but the sun-bathers care nothing for this! They should be called active air-bathers, for they expose their bodies in the harshest days of winter. I was also rather embarrassed, for I could hear com- ing from the garden the voices of many women. The men I did not mind.
In the hall I saw a beautiful girl with a body the colour of shrimp paste. She wore, at first sight, nothing. Then I saw she had a pink brassiere and a pair of pink trunks..
"What do I do"? I asked timid- ly, hugging my cold body.
"Into the garden, down the steps on the right," she replied in 1 matter-of-fact voice.

It is quite grotesque that there are thousands of people who would gaze at a revue, chorus, yet think improper to sun-bathe partially clothed in public!
Each class was in charge of an instructress. One class was doing strenuous physical drill, another running exercises, the third WAA engaged in Greek dancing.
The men wore black or khaki shorts; the girl wore coloured
and little' brassiers trunks. On the lawn were Mr. and Mra. Barford, the principals of the Sun Bathing Society, who have made a special study of sun-bath- ing at many famous Continental centres.
