KAYE DON'S HOPE OF NEW RECORD.-An amazing new British car called the "Silver Bullet" has been built at the Sunbeam Works, Wolverhampton, for Mr. Kaye Don's attempt to break the world's land speed re- cord at Daytona Beach, Florida shortly. The car has been designed by Mr. Louis Coatalen and has two enormous engines, which, although developing 2,000 h.p. each, weigh less than 1,000 pounds each. Of novel

design, the car in 30 ft. long, has a maximum width of under aix ft., and sighest point just over 3 ft. The machine, looking from the tall, showing the two stabilising vares, between, which an air brake has been fitted.—- (Sport and General).
