HONG KONG TIDE
The tide tabla given below bat been obtained by aid of the Tide-pre- dieting Machine, which includes 40 componenta for the better prediction of tides, from the result of the analysis of the tidal observations, taken at the Kowloon tidal observa tory under the direction of Dr. Daberck during the years 1897, 1888 and 1889.
The times and bolghts are given for Kowloon; but they may be urod for the Victoria Naval Yard and Aberdeen, the differences being very small
The times of high and low-water must not be considered to coincide with the times of slack-water and change of current, the two phenomena being quite distinct.
