KOWLOON DOCK TRIUMPH

Two Clubs Tie in Second Division

In holding up the Craigengower C.C., champions and leaders in the First Division of the Lawn Bowls League, in their march to victory, the Kowloon Dock R.C. on Saturday, fulfilled a long-cherished ambition. The Valley team, however, have not been seriously set back by this reverse, as they are still at the head of affairs, but are on equal terms with the Kowloon Bowling Green Club.

By losing to the Bowling Green, the Club de Recreio are prac- tically out of the running for premier honours. The Civil Service C.C., as expected, accounted for the Kowloon C.C., whilst the Police R.C. have added another defeat to their long list of reverses.

In the Second Division, both the Kowloon Bowling Green Club and the Civil Service C.C. won their engagements and have finished their fixtures on equal terms (20 points each). A play-off will be necessary to decide the championship. :
