S. E GREGORY DIES IN AUSTRALIA

Sydney, Yesterday. The death has taken place of the former Australian Test Match cricketer, Mr. Sydney Edward Gregory-Reuter.

[One of the finest cover-points the game has ever known, S. E. Gregory (New South Wales; was born at Sydney on April 14, 1870, a nephew of D. W. Gregory who captained the first Australian team in England in 1878. He first went to England with the 1890 team and retired with an exzellent record in Test, State and other first-class matches.]
