A meeting of the New Territory Agricultural Show Committee was held en Saturday at Sheung Shul when de tails of the formation of the Agricul tural Society was considered and adopt. ed. The Rev. H. R. Wella. presided.

The draft of the Society was pass- ed in the form given below, but it was made clear at the meeting that this would only be a temporary ground plan or working basis for the Bociety.

I. The name of this association is to be "The Agricultural Association." II. The primary object for which this association is formed is the pro- motion of the science and practice of agriculture in all its branches.
