Canton, Yesterday.

A report reaching here announces the death of Mr. Chan Yee-hee, founder and builder of the Sunning Railway, Toyshan, Kwangtung, at his home in Luke Chuen, on June 25.

The late Mr. Chan, 85 years old at his death, went a young man as an emigrant to America. He first joined the Great Northern Pacific Railroad as a labourer and then worked as foreman. His work with this line led him to thinking of constructing a line in his home dia trict, Sunning. He finally succeed- led after many years of toll and sacrifice and when the story of Chan Yee-hee is written some day he, and not many now erroneously listed, would be considered a "hero of the Chinese Revolution."-Nan Chung Kuo News Service.
