The Annual dinner of St. David's Society of Shanghai, at the Majestic Hotel, proved a most enjoyable function. Songs in Welsh by the Welsh Choir gave a most distinctive touch to the affair and the national toasts of "St. David" and "The Prince of Wales" were proposed and duly housured in addition to that of "The King." Mr. Eric Davies, President of the Society, and Mrs. Davies received the Jack Sharkey, the Boston battler, enjoying the milder sport of guests, supported by Mr. K. E. Newman. Vice-President(Ah Fong).
