INCREASED REFRIGERATION ON LINERS.

The Union Castle line "Kenil worth Castle" which left Southam ton for Cape Town was the first of

the company's vessels to sail with the increased refrigerated space re- quired under the terms of the new freight contract, recently signed be. tween the Union Castle Line and the South African Government. The "Kenilworth Castle" reached Southampton on April 16, and few days later passed into the hands of Messra. Harland and Wolff, Ltd., who have been entrusted with the work of making the necessary al- terations in a number of vessels..
